Are you passionate about spreading awareness of needle phobia and the work of The Needle Phobia Alliance? Do you have creative ideas for promoting our organization and engaging with the public? Then we want you on our team!
As a Publicity/Social Media Volunteer, you will be an essential part of our mission to help those with needle phobia. You’ll assist us in promoting our events, sharing resources and information, and connecting with like-minded organizations. And don’t worry if you’re not a social media expert – we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed in this role!
Responsibilities:
- Post and manage event listings on the Eventbrite platform
- Share resources, event information, and more on our social media accounts
- Identify organizations that would like to distribute flyers and information to their clients, and gather their contact information
- Other related activities as needed
Compensation: This is a volunteer position, so there is no expectation of pay. However, we may reimburse you for approved volunteering-related expenses (please check in with us first).
Time Commitment: We ask that volunteers commit to approximately 1-3 hours per week, but we’re all about being flexible and sustainable. Feel free to let us know what is achievable for you!

- Must live in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years old
